Lew Beyers, Principal
RA, LEED AP, NCARB
Licensed in Illinois and Indiana
Lew Beyers possesses vast experience with design centered on residential, commercial, cultural/institutional, planning, and special design-build projects. He truly launched his career when he founded BEY-Design in 2010. As Principal, he is committed to design excellence and client satisfaction.
During his college career, he gained diverse experience from various internships, including civil engineering work at Schnider Engineering, building single family housing at Coy Construction, and healthcare design and construction documents at NBBJ's Columbus, OH Office.
His professional career began in 2002 at Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects, where he worked on a number of diverse building types, including Franklin College Student Union Renovation/Addition, Ball State University Football Stadium Renovation, Market Square Arena mixed-use RFP and the Indianapolis Athletic Club Renovation.
He moved to Chicago in 2004 to join pappageorgehaymes partners, where he worked on a number of high-rise projects, including 1400 South Michigan Tower II, Grand Station, Park Michigan, Kenzie Station, Park Lafeyette in Milwakee, and The River Oaks District in Houston to name a few.
Lew attended Ball State University, where he received his bachelor and masters degrees in Architecture, as well as, a bachelor of science in environmental design.
He received the Johnathan King Medal for Excellence in Research and Design for his masters thesis research and analysis of the daylighting principles implemented by Tadao Ando and Louie I. Kahn.
He furthered his commitment to environmental design excellence by becoming a LEED Accredited Professional.
Meena Beyers, AICP
Meena Beyers has broad experience in community development, including municipal services, affordable housing planning, comprehensive planning, and energy planning. With significant planning and community development experience, including municipal experience with the City of Naperville and the Village of Oak Park, a degree in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University, and a Masters Degree in Public Service Management from DePaul University, Meena approaches work with strong leadership abilities, skillful project management, and creative problem-solving.
Meena is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, and has served as the co-chair of the DePaul University School of Public Service Alumni Association and as an executive board member for the American Society for Public Administration Chicago Chapter.
Meena is currently a Project Manager for Resource Solutions Group Chicago office, an environmental consulting firm headquartered in Half Moon Bay, California.
