This well maintained residence is a turn of the century carpenter-built Victorian Vernacular design, which received a slightly later Arts and Crafts style porch and sunroom.  Two stories in height, the house has a gable-on-hip roof with gabled extensions to the North and West.  Imbricated shingles cover the main block gable areas.  The flared verge-boards and exposed purlin motifs could also be slightly later additions.  The walls are of frame construction with narrow feather edge clapboards and wide corner boards with half-round bead trim at the corners.  Some of the original one-over-one sash remains, other windows are now five-over-one sash.  The porch has been rebuilt in the Arts and Crafts Style.  The gables are low pitched and have faux half-timbering, wide verge-boards and exposed purlins.  The piers and low wall are of stippled red face brick with limestone details and copings.  The house is situated on a brick foundation.
